Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina Volunteer Event

Please mark your calendars for our next family friendly volunteer event at Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina on Saturday 10/14/2023, from 12:30 – 3:30pm. Second Harvest is the largest hunger fighting agency in the area, helping children, seniors, families, pets, and those affected by disasters. Our club has been proud to support their efforts each year through donations and volunteer events.

This Fall, we are continuing our participation through a "Sorting and Inspecting" event. Please let us know if you are interested in joining us for this service opportunity.  Last year, we had more interest than space available for our event. Because group size is limited for each volunteer event, if we have sufficient interest we will look at coordinating more than one volunteer event for our club. 

Please join us for this good cause. Volunteers aged 13 and up are welcome. This event counts for community service if it is a requirement at your child's school. All volunteers age 13-16 must be accompanied by a volunteering adult.
